She keeps the small local community at arm’s length, who are themselves in a quiet but tense battle for land with the indigenous Sami people. THE WRITER
Julie Mayhew is a former journalist and actress turned writer. She is the author of four Carnegie-nominated young adult novels and a series of literary thrillers, several of which are being developed for film and tv. Her stage plays have been backed by Arts Council England and her audio dramas has been twice nominated for BBC Audio Drama Awards.
